Andy if you made the changes using insert+V the settings are only altered temporarily, if you want to change them permanently you should, while in the winamp main window press insert+6 on the number row, not the number pad, to bring up the jaws config manager with the configuration file for winamp opened automatically for you. make the verbosity changes there and before closing the config manager use control+S to save the changes. They should now be saved permanently. When I click on an audio file and Winamp launches and starts playing the track, JAWS announces, that you are in the Winamp main window and other windows are open and then it goes on to tell you the track title. This is a pest, particularly when listening a track at a time. I went into JAWS verbosity and set this to Advanced Level, but when I re-boot and launch Winamp again, the change I made to the verbosity has gone. Any ideas would be very welcomed. Best wishes.
