Try the app for lightwaveRF it is free and seems pretty accessible. You can
set up rooms, as you can also have sockets/dimmers switching on/off too.

Mike,

This is something I'm also looking into. There was a recent intouch
programme, week before last I think, in which this very subject was
discussed. I've tried to get some further information from the charity who
are working on this and dissapointingly, I've heard nothing despite at least
two emails to them. Not sure if Leone Watson is on this list but I think
she demoed the iphone app. Also, British Gas is now doing a complete
heating upgrade in relation to your thermostat for £199. This is for a
complete wi fi thermostat and the relevant ap to control it. I believe it
can be fully controlled via the internet and the ap. As to how accessible
it is I don't yet know. You can however program in heating and water
schedules and set times, temps etc for your heating.

Please share any information you get also though.

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Wifi Heating controls

Hello,

Has anyone bought and used any of the wireless heating controls? If so, are
they wireless thermostats, or wireless timer modules for switching on/off
the heating circuit?

I see that Lightwave RF do a range of products, with a free app which seems
to be accessible. But I only see a switch rely for the heating, so not sure.

Help appreciated.

Kindest,

Mike
