Jim, must admit I've given up with Open Office more than once because the
accessibility side of it is so awkward. This issue has been hanging around for
more years than I care to remember, and some of the developers must be aware of
it if they're still alive!
If there is a test version that doesn't require you to mess about with the Java
Access Bridge, Im sorry to say I've failed to find it, so would appreciate a
direct link, please, if anyone has one.

No, I hadn't thought about Open Office.Is it similar to Bill Gates' toy and

Just a thought, have you ever thought about open office? the new test
versions are now quite stable no ribbons and you don't have to mess
about with the java access bridge.
