George,

I have made use of the .cash file to find items, it can be used to recover
deleted items as within the folder which in effect is what this is, we have
sub-folders each dated and I've been able to recover some files without
problems using these.

-*.cache may be used for temporary disk storage as opposed to memory
storage.

-Messing with such files can be a recipe for disaster, so best leave Dropbox

-Greetings,
-
-In my DropBox route besides my own folders I have the following items:
-
-** .dropbox.cache
-** .dropbox
-Computer backup.dbx-backup
-** desktop.ini
-Passwords app.dbx-passwords
-
-** I am aware these have been present since first installing DropBox and
for
-the most part know what they are for.
-
-Unmarked files have only appeared since last updating DropBox about two
-weeks ago.
-
-Be interested please, in comments and possible explanations of what these
-unmarked files are and how to make use of them.
