I would advise you to leave well alone.  They are required by Dropbox.  In
some cases such as *.ini files, the "ini" extension indicates that it is
looked at for special information when the program is run, or "initialised".
*.cache may be used for temporary disk storage as opposed to memory storage.

Messing with such files can be a recipe for disaster, so best leave Dropbox
to manage them.

Subject: [access-uk] What do these DB items do please?

Greetings,

In my DropBox route besides my own folders I have the following items:

** .dropbox.cache
** .dropbox
Computer backup.dbx-backup
** desktop.ini
Passwords app.dbx-passwords

** I am aware these have been present since first installing DropBox and for
the most part know what they are for.

Unmarked files have only appeared since last updating DropBox about two
weeks ago.

Be interested please, in comments and possible explanations of what these
unmarked files are and how to make use of them.
