[access-uk] What current processor is equal to or faster than the Intel 2 Quad Core processor

Would someone be able to tell me what current processor would be equal or 
slightly better to the following one?

Processor - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 
•       Processor Spec - 2.40GHz, 8MB Cache
