George Is version 9 very different? My friend is not very good at assimilating new features, and I am concerned that she will find it a very steep learning curve. I suppose I had better go onto the FS website and find out more. JAWS 9 is very definitely the current version being shipped as can be confirmed at the developer's web site http://www.freedomscientific.com/. All the upgrades listed go to version 8. I wonder whether 9 has been out long enough for them to have it in stock. It does make you wonder what is the matter with JAWS 8, and I am concerned because a friend may be just about to buy JAWS, and it will be version 8 she gets.
