You may be affected by a just-fixed bug: download the version uploaded today. More to the point, press Control and W to bring up the Google search page. This puts you in a text box: type the search phrase and return. All the Google results are then put in a list for you and you can cursor up and down them and press return to follow one. Quicker and easier than using the page.
