You may be affected by a just-fixed bug: download the version uploaded today.

More to the point, press Control and W to bring up the Google search
page. This puts you in a text box: type the search phrase and return.
All the Google results are then put in a list for you and you can
cursor up and down them and press return to follow one. Quicker and
easier than using the page.
