The point was that in the programme Peter White was talking about the fact 
(according to him) that a blind person's desk was cluttered up with gadgets. 
He mentioned a Daisy CD player and then said another player would be needed 
to play commercial CDs.

i don't understand your point. mine was that it is not possible to select
stations for the radio as a visually impaired person and you have to request
your provider to do this for you. what has that to do with CD's?
