Hi,

I had the same issue after a firmware upgrade of my E90 and then restoring
phone settings.

After flattening the phone this works ok and I have the following settings:

Tools | Settings | General | Positioning | Positioning Server:
Access Point: O2 Mobile Web
Server: supl.nokia.com - this was incorrect on older firmware.

Hope this helps.
Andrew.

Could be getting closer here. I don't have an Access Point defined
and have several options to choose from. These are Connection, O2 MMS, O2
Mobile Web, O2 Post Pay MMS, O2 Post Pay WAP, O2 WAP GPRS and O2 WAP GPRS
Streaming, . Will start testing a few out, but if you've got any
recommendations, that'd be good.

        The Server Address is supl.nokia.com.

Léonie.

Hi,

Also what is your positioning server set at?

Andrew.

I've got Assisted GPS, Integrated GPS and Network Based all checked.
The only one not checked is Bluetooth GPS.

Hi,

Are you using assistive and network based GPS as well as the integrated
receiver? Check in phone options.

Andrew.

Evening,

I've recently installed Wayfinder Access on my N95. So far, I
haven't been able to get it working and hope somebody can help.

I'm using the integrated GPS, which is switched on. I know an
external GPS would offer a better signal, but I'm wary of buying one in
case it's something else at fault.

When I load Wayfinder, the Settings menu confirms that GPS is
connected. Looking at the Info tab suggests that there is No GPS connected
though. Certainly, no relevant information on latitude, longitude etc. shows
up.

A couple of times, whilst waiting for Wayfinder to find itself, I've
tried to refresh the list of Nearby points etc. This seems to produce the
same information every time and in German. In case of doubt, I'm in Bristol
and my phone language is English...

The only other useful bit of information I can offer at this stage,
is that when Wayfinder is opened, a red cross briefly appears, then
disappears. Wayfinder support asked about this and I had to ask for sighted
help to confirm, so not sure how relevant this will be for other VI folks.

If anyone can suggest something I might try, I'd be grateful.
Thanks.

Léonie.
