Hi all, I've a warning for you all. My girlfriend has been having a problem removing a Trojan she had on her laptop. The trojan was detected by AVG, and she's been having it for a few weeks now. When she did a thorough investigation on her laptop, it turned out that Messenger Plus! May have been responsible for the Trojan, as after she deleted the programme she did a virus scan about 5 times, with all results being "no virus found". So guys, I suggest that you remove all copies of Messenger plus! (unless your copy doesn't contain a trojan that is). I hope this warning serves some purpose, and reminds you all how such a fun little programme that adds features to Messenger can actually be something sinister. Best wishes, Chris Hallsworth -- Christopher Hallsworth chrishallsworth@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq __________ NOD32 1.1849 (20061102) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com
