There is no trojans with messenger plus

There is however a piece of add ware software.

If you pay attention during the installation... You can opt out of installing this add/marketing software.

Subject: [access-uk] Warning!

Hi all,
I've a warning for you all. My girlfriend has been having a problem
removing a Trojan she had on her laptop. The trojan was detected by AVG,
and she's been having it for a few weeks now. When she did a thorough
investigation on her laptop, it turned out that Messenger Plus! May have
been responsible for the Trojan, as after she deleted the programme she
did a virus scan about 5 times, with all results being "no virus found".
So guys, I suggest that you remove all copies of Messenger plus! (unless
your copy doesn't contain a trojan that is).
I hope this warning serves some purpose, and reminds you all how such a
fun little programme that adds features to Messenger can actually be
something sinister.
Best wishes, Chris Hallsworth
