I noticed the day that this thread got going last week that BT announced the take over of the ISP behind Waitrose and a number of other coustomer offerings, although I can't remember the name now off the top of my head, brightnet or some such possibly - seems it isn't so easy to escape BT afterall. We have been on Waitrose for about ten months. As a bit of a dunce with all this techie stuff, I have to say they held our hands all the way. The first problem was not realising that you had to take the top off a USB networkcard. There support is based in South Africa, they have been patient and once when their Broadband was out, there was a recorded message on their support line. They also say that if they make a proffit they will spend it in the third world.
