Hi JamesIt is the Nokia N79 and I've tried on two different WEP networks with no joy. Some other people using newer Nokia phones have told me they've had problems too. Some have just left it while another person said theirs sorted itself once they updated the firmware. I can't leave it as I use the WLAN a lot and I've updated the firmware with no joy. I might try reinstalling the router with WPA tomorrow.

Hi Barbara, WPA is a much stronger method of wireless encryption, and a method of hacking it has currently not been found. So unlike WEP, its completely secure. My phone works with it just fine, I should imagine your's does too. If its not only your WEP key that the phone has problems with, something tells me that the phone may not support the variant of WEP being used or something like that. What phone is it, just out of interest? Sorry if you've already said.JLS Radio is no more!
