Hi Carol,

You shouldn't need the ASPI drivers, if you are running Windows XP, just let
it use its native NT drivers, and it should work.

Thanks, that was the only difference I could find.

CDEX is one of only a few things now I haven't put back on my computer
because I recall that on one or other of my computers I had to use ASPI
drivers.  I can't recall what they were for or find the relevant information
easily, so if anyone knows then please help me to solve this one.

Meantime I'll leave Winamp Pro alone.  Thanks Steve.
