Hi Carol,
We had to purchase another microwave as ours gave up and we bought the combination one from Cobolt. Have to say I was very disappointed. First one we had to send back as it was all caved in at the back and had lots of scratches on. Received a replacement and it works but honestly it feels extremely cheap and tinny. If you can find one of the old ones as Ian suggested, I would certainly go for that, we had ours for years. I don't know what is available commercially but it would be worth having a look. I use the oven a great deal and find I need the speech to get accurate temperatures.
Regards
Mary

Hi all,
We're sure our microwave will finally give up soon - he's started saying odd things and needed powering off and on today to stop him saying "Door closed"! Mike really wants another Cobolt microwave and there are only the two to choose from. First, how many of you think it's worth having the grill version? Second, if I consider another model, without speech, what would you recommend? (Buttons must beep, dials must click, I guess!)
I'm interested in any comments, please.
