Hi andy.
That because that instance of Daniel is part of Siri rather than voiceover.
So when he is speaking in that situation use the volume buttons to increase
it to the level you like it and then it'll be remembered there after!

When I hold the home button and ask say for the time, Daniel speaks it much
more quietly than  the usual Voice Over volume level. I've looked around in
settings, but can't find anything to tweak to bring this volume up to the VO
level. Can it be done? -
