Ed, I think Listrecorder is fine, in that it pauses after you instruct it to
record, although inevitably any VO sound will be picked up. There are some
good applevis tutorials on it too.

Hi,
Can anyone recommend an app for recording voices/speech on the iPhone that
won't also record Voiceover as I navigate the screen?
I had a feeling that Voice Memos wouldn't recordVoiceover on the recording,
but think I must have been mistaken as I've tried it and it does.
