Hi all.

While the VoiceMate was useful, it had the problem of being very poorly
constructed. If it were built better it would be a very useful device as it
allowed you to do a voice search for a message and also use voice for
recording appointments.

Using a mobile for the calendar is fine, but entering a subject line can
take a bit of a while, depending on how much you need to write.

I think there is definitely a place for a voicemate style device that is
reasonably easy to use yet fully searchable. Is there an alternative? I
know there was tha Tadi but I have also heard that this is not a very good
product either. no one really seems to have taken to it. Anyone any ideas?
or is the mobile with TALKS the only option now on offer?

Cheers

Graham

Subject: [access-uk] Voice Mate discontinued

Hello everyone,

I have just visited the Cobolt Systems website news page. Voice Mate
and accessories have been discontinued but Cobolt Systems have a
limited supply of data cables and cases.

Best wishes,
