|A virtual machine can be thought of as a real computer running on top of
| your host. It's just another way of running another operating system, with
| the advantage that a reboot is not required. It can be used, for example, 
to
| try another operating system, to use applications that are not compatible
| with your host operating system, etc. I just use it for pure fun because I
