True. -original message- Subject: [access-uk] Virus scan and system restore From: "Amro Bilal" <info@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: 23/11/2010 1:29 am Hello all, Windows XP Is it true that system restore has to be turned off before cleaning viruses for the cleaning process to be effective or is this just an urban myth? The logic dictates that even if the system restore files don't get cleaned, one has to restore the system to a date before the cleaning process for any nasty files to come back to the system, right? Enlighten me please!
