Could you perhaps provide the URL you are having problems accessing? I've got Virgin at home, so can try there for you. George. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Pele West Sent: 09 May 2009 10:51 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Virgin.net ISP Hi Everyone Is there anyone who accesses the Internet via virgin.net who could help me? I am unable to log into the RNIB Bookstream Service or the Talking Book catalogue. I can access the Log In page but, when I enter my e-mail address and password Internet Explorer times out. I have established that other people can log in using my details, and I can access other pages on the RNIB website. I have tried, without success, to log in on my husband's computer. I am using Internet Explorer 6 which I know is rather elderly, but it has not prevented me from accessing lots of other websites. I have run Superantispyware and Spybot Search and Destroy and fixed all the problems, as far as I know. I have tried disabling the firewall. I have not tried disabling the anti-virus software yet. That might be next. If someone who uses Virgin.net ISP could contact me off-list, I would be interested to see if they are having the same problems as I am. The ISP has to be Virgin.net, NTLWorld or Blueyonder, or any other Virgin ISPs will not do: I know that someone going in via NTLWorld is not having these problems. My address is pele.west@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Thanks Pele West ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
