If there is accessibility in that box, VirginMedia are sure not shouting about 
it.  I couldn’t find anything on accessibility on their web pages.

I would also be very interested to know this! :-) please keep it on the list. 
Tell us what works and what doesn't. I would be interesteed to know if the 
speech volume and speed can be adjusted as well  of course  whether or not 
everything speaks! :-)

I can't answer your question right now as I'm not at home.

However, we have just had a Tivo V6 box installed, and I shall be looking at
this while I dig into all its other features.

There is certainly an "Accessibility" topic in the menus.

I have to add that Virgin's current deal of £55.00 a month beats Sky's £92 a
month and for a better package, especially as we have Virgin cable right
into our house - as opposed to just to the street box and copper to the
house.

Do we have any Virgin Media customers using the new Tivo V6 box?  I hear
rumours that the new box is much more accessible, with spoken menus and also
spoken electronic programme guides.  I have phoned virgin, but no one can
