hi Alan.
Hi Alan.
Thanks for answering my questions.
So when you find your recordings and want to watch one, what do you do so that
it plays on the TV do you just double tap it? also, what if you record the
Soaps or a drama and are away so you have more than one episode to watch? Is
it easy to find the various episodes to watch on the TV?
I think that's all.
Oh, presumably you can set recordings when away from home.
Mandy.

Hi Mandy.
I am able to answer most of your questions.
The Virginmedia app is fully accessible on a iPhone.
You can use your tv guide to set recordings and do the series link as well.
Yes you can select different days to see what’s on each channel.
Yes you can do program search or channel search.
Yes you can delete recorded programs on your iPhone by flicking up or down on
the highlighted program and tapping delete.
your recorded programs are on a tab at the bottom of your screen so you just
tap it and it then shows you all your recordings.
Yes you can watch your recordings with audio description if they have been
recordedwith AD on your iPhone.
As for streaming away from home I do not use that so can’t really say if it
does that or not.
You can even use your virgin media app to control your set-top box if you
can’t put your hands on your remote control. Even that is fully accessible.
Hope this answers all your questions if you need any more information please
ask.
Alan

Hi Alan.
Ok, I'll try to explain what I want to find out.
so presumably you get TV guide from where you choose programmes - pesumably
you choose record once or record series, can you go to different days of the
week, and can you just search for programmes by title and then go straight
to record?
Can you play your recordings back on the iPhone and if so will they have
audio description if that's how they were recorded?
Can you delete programmes on the box from your phone?
Can you play recordings when away from your WiFi?
I think that's most of what I need to know
Oh excemt: how do you find your recordings to play onthebox?? ?

It’s very accessible using voice over on the iPhone.
If I can help just drop me a line. Best wishes. Alan.

Hi All.
Does anybody on here use the Virgin Media app?
I will wait for someone to say they do before going into details of what I
want to know.
I am with Virgin Media for broadband and phone and am due to quit @Sky to
change but want to ensure I won’t be missing out on anything that I can
currently do with Sky.
Mandy.
