I think someone may have used this before. On the router there is a reset
button which will need pushing by a paper clip. Please reset the router and
report back on the IP address returned through ipconfig. If the IP address has
changed from the default then I think the password may have been changed also.
I am trying to get a definitive answer as to the specs on this model as I
haven't used one, but that IP address doesn't look standard to me.

With the 2500 connected, ipconfig returns the following.
ip address: 10.210.210
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
default gateway: 10.210.210.253
When I run the quickstart wizard for the 2500 the ip address returned is also
10.210.210.253

Can you do an ipconfig at the command prompt and get back to me with your
current IP address and the default gateway? The 2500 is a cut down version of
the 2600, and i am not sure whether it uses different software.

The ip address displayed when I run the set-up wizard is different from
this one. Again, I don't see any way to change this.

Hi!
I've been trying to set-up a Draytek Vigor2500 modem/router. When I run
the "quick start wizard" on the supplied disc, a screen appears with an ip
address and a prompt to enter a password. Having read through the user guide,
and had someone look at the written info, there's no obvious indication of what
this password should be.
Any help would be apreciated as I must be missing something here!
