Hi,

I have no reason to believe that the Office offer is going away any time soon.
The Smas are for people who want to maintain their full version of Window-Eyes
along with the unlimited free tech support that goes with it.

All the best

Steve

Hi Steve,
Please would like your thoughts on this, since no one on the GW list
has asked or discussed this properly. Since GW are giving out pricing
for SMA, what does this say about us who have the Office offer? I
somehow don't think its going to be upgradable for long probably,
because, if you look at it, most people who use Windows use Office, GW
are now making people buy SMAS, or at least putting prices of them on
their site and offering discounts. It would make more sense for users
of WE who didn't have Office but who are spending money on SMAS to
rather buy Office if the Office offer were going to carry on
indefinitely. Also, GW totally stopped SMAS when the Office offer
started, now they're putting them back into place. If I were using WE
as my primary screenreader and took it up with the Office offer I'd be
worried about the future. Was this a whole thing to win future
customers to WE? Or can it be that the GW staff don't even know
exactly what or what not they're going to do? You're a WE dealer, what
do you make of this? Would you advise people who have the Office WE to
buy a SMA, can they?
Thanks
Ari
