Andrew, could you be a bit more precise? What actually happens? Are you told
that there's no update available?

Sandra,
I don't know what I have done, I've tried that.
I have no maps at all.
Is there a file I can get, to install the maps again?
If so, where do I look

Andrew

Hi Andrew,
First, you need to make sure your trek is connected to your wi-fi.  Then make
sure you hear on line bookshelves by pressing the top middle button.
Wait a few seconds and you should hear, an update is available for your player.
Press the 7 key and then the hash key to start the update.  You'll hear
prompts all the way through the update process.
If the update doesn't start automatically, press the 7 key until you hear
software updates and then press the hash key.  The first item in that menu is
check for updates now.  Press the hash key and the update should start as
before.  If you do the update process, you'll get your maps back as they were
before.
Hope this makes sense, but if not, come back to me.

Cheers,
Sandra.
