There is a way to put the American voices on your Trek.  I hate Graham and
Rachael so I changed the firmware.  If you go to the Humanware website, go
to the support link and from there find the product you want, in this case
the Victor Reader Trek.  Hit the software link and you'll find the American
voices, I think it's Ryan and Sharon.  Download that file, drop it on the
root of the SD card, plug the Trek into the mains and power on.  You'll
hear
the usual update percentages and after the Trek powers off, power on again
and hey presto!  You've got American voices.
