Hi Carol.I agree. I've given it some thought, but to be honest, I hate Norton and like an old lover, I don't wish anything more to do with him/her. When I launch my VISTA computer it's there. I'm thinking if I do an Alt F4 whis will turn it off then uninstall it. I can then go for Nod 32. However, it's memory will still be there, just to remind me, just how much a bully \Norton really was! This is a task however where I'll need sighted assistance, but I'm pretty sure now that Norton is going to be killed.

If you decided to get rid of Norton, you probably will need to stop it running in Services (or whatever Vista calls it), then you can probably uninstall ... Messy but once it's out, it's out!
