Hi Andy, Open one of your Vista folders, press Alt + v, and select List or Details such that you get the view you want. (Details is a more comprehensive listing) Now press Alt + t to bring up the Tools menu, and select "Folder Options". Navigate to the "View" Tab. In the View tab, press "Apply to Folders". You will get a message asking you to confirm that you wish this view to apply to all folders. Click Yes. Job done! George. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Andy Sent: 04 April 2008 22:18 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] VISTA organising files in Details rather than List View Hi all. an anyone advise me how to permanently change my Windows Explorer to show files in a list, rather than in Details mode.
