Fair enough, but I happen to know that RNIB like to have exclusive deals
with people, which is why you can't buy any of the VisuAide daisy players
from anybody other than them. I suspect Tisot wouldn't accept such an
agreement.

No-one ever said that. If you read the quote from Tissot you'll see
that the RNIB is included as one of their distributors for this item.
But nowhere does it say that they're the sole UK distributor.

Interesting! I just called Michael Jones the Jewellers in Northampton.
Given that I have the right model, they sell the Tissot Silent Vibrating
watch and the suggested retail price of two hundred and ninety-five
pounds.
Given that they are a Michael Jones are a High Street
retailer, and not exactly known for their low prices, my
guess is that you might be able to do a better deal if you
know a friendly local Tissot dealer.
