Ok Thanks Dave.

I always thought ATW placed the actual orders for kit.

So thanks for putting me right on this.

So does kit (even when funded by ATW) belong to employer
Or the disabled person?

Regards, Derek

Derek,

ATW do not purchase anything, you or your employer have to purchase and
claim back from ATW.

Cheers

Dave

Hi All
My council has approve some funding for equipment for me.

Does anyone know if my council is right regarding the following.

They say that they cannot order equipment without being charged VAT.
So they are saying, the workaround this, is for them to transferee
money To my bank account, (individual budget scheme) and then, I order
the kit, and then no VAT would then be payable.

Surely a council can place an order on behalf of A disabled
individual, and still not have to pay VAT.

~What if it was ATW placing the order!

Reghards, Derek
