I don't know the settings, Jackie, but am pretty sure someone on TAFN will know them, since they do have techies there who help out.

Hi Carol

I am looking for the ` sign, but it seems to be dot four.  The lady wants to
use TAFN as her provider, and she wants to set her Email up using IMAP.
Whatever I try though, it won't work! If anyone is using TAFN and knows the
settings for POP, I could try these instead.  I have never been successful
with IMAP on the Sense, but I believe you can do it.

Yes, you could do this if her email is set up on a computer and then get the
password for yourself, written as she wrote it.

You could then try transferring this password, using a textfile to be safe,
onto the Sense and see what you get!

Are you having trouble with the settings of the Sense? Perhaps if you tell
us the provider we may be able to help.

We did look but really didn't find that character. Remind me again which you
were hunting for and I'll give it another go today as I didn't have much
time to play yesterday.

Hi Derek

She definitely has the correct password, but it is whether I am
writing it correctly.

She also wants her Email account to be IMAP, and I am not getting the
U2 to play ball with it.

Thanks for your suggestion though.

Hi Jackie
How about the person you are helping, do a password reminder request.
Then you can both see what comes back.

Regards,  Derek

I still cannot work out what the ` sign is in Grade Two English
Braille which someone has as part of their password.  Any ideas please
guys?
I have
tried the chord U followed by dot four, and dots two-three-four-six,
but neither work.

Many thanks.
