Clive

A couple of weeks ago I totally failed to access a program and had to resort to
using a daughter's expertise.
Using JFW2019.

Hi all, How about Channel 5 accessibility. I seriously struggle with this on my
Windows PC (Windows 10, bouncing between Jaws 16 and latest NVDA. Has anyone
tried the C5 vcatch-up? How much faith can I realistically put in the RNIB
campaigns team to take up the general issue of poor accdess to catch-up
services provided by TV companies outside of the BBC?

Best,
Clive

Hello,

They've had this for over 5 years now. I don't see why they still do nothing
about it.<div id="DAB4FAD8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2"><br /> <table

Hi Yusuf

Yes looks like that's exactly right.  I checked iOS earlier and it is
nowhere to be seen yet either.  It's shameful quite honestly! I've
written to them a few times, along with many others, but clearly ITV
doesn't think it is important enough.  In the grand scheme of things
it isn't, but it would be nicer to follow a programme with AD included.

Kind regards,

Last time I checked Jackie, I couldn't figure out how to do this
either and don't think it is currently possible. It appeared that the
only way of watching catch up TV with audio description from ITV was
to use the Android App.

Has anyone used the ITV Hub on a PC before and, if so, how you find
programmes with Audio Description?  When I go away, I generally take
my Amazon Fire tablet as the ITV Hub definitely carries AD.  But I was
thinking of taking my laptop to cover everything I need instead, but
haven't found anything on the ITV Hub online which points to AD.

Thanks for any pointers.

Kind regards,

Jackie Brown
