Hi John. Well not sure but it seems to improve the box overall. Take care. Chris Hallsworth On 22/04/2011 11:57 AM, john coley wrote:
Hi Chris, I think you have misunderstood what low power mode is. It means that the box doesn't switch off, it just goes to sleep. If you want to turn your box off when you're not using it, as I do, low power mode must be off. It isn't to do with how much power the box uses in operation. Are you having trouble using your remote away from the box? Are you finding speech just that little bit sluggish? Does powering on and off take significantly longer than it should? If so, please try the below. 1. Press menu. 2. Scroll down and select technical settings. 3. Scroll down and select low power mode. 4. Scroll down and select off. 5. Press exit to return to TV. Please let us know how you get on. Take care. -- Chris Hallsworth ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
