It sounds like you may have a setting like "Leave Mail or Server"
active.

Please help me!
I am using Windows 7 with Windows Live Mail.
It is going Mad!
It is continually downloading emails after I have deleted them!
I am up to 800 now and it keeps happening over and over again!
I have emptied the deleted folder again and again, but they just come
back!
I have restored back to 22nd but it still happens!
Should I "repair" it?
If so, how?
I can't find it listed in the programmes!
Please advise urgently!
