You can use the same Apple ID for everything Apple, I think, Jackie. You can also have an iCloud address if you want one. For mme this means I get the chosen mail on my iPhone/Pod and the rest waits till I get to the computer <Smiles>

Thanks John. I know this is in Settings, so can turn it on. It was the Apple ID question that threw me most as I have one already, and decided to opt out of it because I didn't want to confuse a new one with what I already have. Unless of course it means something completely different? It took about an hour on the Mac to complete the whole process, but it went smoothly, and DD as he is known to me, (among other things that are less polite and therefore not conducive to this list), is speaking. But happily for me is the reward that TuneIn now opens, and all my presets have been saved and are available to use as before. I would say that when I completed the update part of the upgrade on the Mac, the iPod Touch itself had questions for me. One of these was to do with Location Services, which I opted to turn off. I am not sure what it actually does, so perhaps someone more knowledgeable might advise me. Then I was asked to create an Apple ID for something concerning Cloud, butI again declined to do so because I already have one for purchasing etc. And if someone could tell me about Cloud, I would be interested to know. There are obviously new things in this upgrade that I haven't followed threads on, so apologies for repetition. I suppose you only read what concerns you at the time unless you can help someone else? Anyway it's done Andy, and TuneIn works again, so I will do my utmost to suffer DD in return. Many thanks to anyone who can tell me in summary what the new updates are, and what Location Services is.
