Hi

Is your deleted items folder empty? Not sure if there's a limit to how many
deleted messages it can store.

Do you have an up-to-date anti virus program running?

Do you have any hard disk storage problems i.e. close to a full disk?

Have you switched identies?

I haven't used OE for some years but hopefully there's some pointers.
