But are you going to get an exact disc image with Karen's Replicator Steve?

Then, when you really crash, how would it work from there?

Hi Carol,

To be honest, if you want to back up your hard drive, I
would go for an external USB drive, rather than mess
about with DVDs. These drives are quite cheap now, and
then download something like Karen's Replicator, which is
free, and an excellent little backup too.

All the best

Steve

So, effectively, is this sufficient to back up and then
restore
your hard drive? Is it VI user friendly?

Carol

Hello all,
Do any of you use this software? I do and it's great.
I've just
paid for
a registration key so that I can manipulate disk images
larger
than
300MB, which is not possible in the trial. It was only
$29.95 (£19 in
British pounds). I will also get free lifetime updates,
unlimited
technical support via e-mail, bla bla bla. Just waiting
for this
code
now. I tried other free and shareware ones and prefer
UltraIso
for its
ease of use and powerful features. Think the website is
www.ultraiso.com.
Enjoy!
