Do you know what type the USB port is?  Ideally it should be USB 3 for
maximum speed.

If it is not listed anywhere, if you can get help from someone sighted, and
they look at the USB socket on the TV, if it is USB3, it will usually have a
blue plastic divider in the socket as opposed to a black one.

Thankfully is you do get a USB3 memory stick, it will still function in the
older types.

Subject: [access-uk] USB memory for recording from LG TV

Hi Folks

I think this may have been mentioned recently but I can't find the e-mails.
I just purchased an LG TV and now require a memory stick or drive to use as
a recorder, rewind etc. I've just had a quick look on amazon and can get
memory sticks up to 2TB in sizeI'd probably look for 256Gb or 500gb. Has
anyone got any recommendations or hints and tips as to what to look for?

Thanks
Martin
