Hi Richard,

I don't know about Freecom, but I use Western Digital drives here and they're
great. Maxtor's new line of drives have gone down hill, and I would definately
not recommend them or seegate who have now been bought by Maxtor.

I have always used Freecom and have had no problems.

Subject: [access-uk] USB HARD DRIVE RECOMMENDATION AGAIN

My Maxtor has just failed after only 10 months. Any recommendations for
something more reliable?

Another point is that I'll have to take the old one back to Argos. How does
one safeguard the data if they want it back?

Thanks.
