Wendy, Movie Maker allows you to create movies that you can publish to the web. Not very exciting for us blind folks, I know, so I can understand why you want to remove it. It is possible that the error's coming up as someone else may have used it before you, and for some reason it hasn't unloaded from memory properly. QuickTime; you should be able to remove it from Add/Remove programmes, however some websites require the plug-in, so I would leave it if I were you. Hope that helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wendy Sharpe" <w.sharpe@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Steve Not so. Not in system tray or startup, so can't do anything about it. Idon't know what Movie Maker does, and I don't know why the prompt should sayit is being used by another person or program. I have also found anotherprogram called Quicktime, and can't get rid of that either. I think I mightjust give up! Have a look in System tray, and see if you can close it from there. This worked fine with Snapfish, but it won't let me get rid of Movie Maker. A delete error message comes up saying that another person or computer is using the program. This is rubbish, as I am the only one who uses this computer.
