If this type of subject is coming on the list, then I shall unsubscribe.
I don’t believe this should be rammed down anyone's neck. I’m a
Christian but this I don’t believe in what so ever. why don’t you set up
your own religious group. If this is what you want to talk about.

Acts 26, and although we’re nearing our journey’s end in this book, there’s
still much to learn, still much to find out, about our lives and how God
wants to interact with us. We want to introduce you to Jesus today – the
Way, The Truth, the Life. This is Uplift Christian Fellowship – the best
half hour on radio. Are you listening?

There’s an auditorium in Caesarea, the main Roman seaport in Israel. It’s
good for acoustics and is set fairly near the sea. Paul is brought here
again, for the last time, for one of the biggest challenges of his life – to
introduce Jesus to Governer Festus and King Agrippa, an expert in the Jewish
faith.

Pomp and circumstance – they’re all there, the great and the good. The
opportunity is there too – Paul had been promised that he would testify to
kings and leaders. Now was that time! He focuses on the story of his life –
how he met with a risen Jesus on the Damascus Road, and how Jesus changed
his life, giving him a purpose to live for. Alive, yes, Jesus was alive, and
willing to appear to someone like Paul, someone who had been violently
opposed to Him. What about you – how do you feel about Jesus? Let’s sing a
hymn proclaiming a truth about Him. ‘Thine is the glory, risen, conquering
Son.

Well Sheila’s here today and will join us in a moment, bringing us God’s
Word. Later Dee Jay M will bring us a message fromGod – one we believe you
will find challenging, but uplifting. Please join me now as we come before
God in prayer.

Prayer.

Thanks Sheila for bringing us God’s word. Dee Jay M will be along after our
next hymn to talk a bit about the passage and how it affects us today. Now
let’s sing about one of the basics of the Christian faith.’When I survey the
wondrous cross’ – looking to the cross, indeed looking to the man on the
cross, will bring you life, not just for now, but for ever.

Dee Jay M brought us God’s word, Don and Dee amplified it. What are you
waiting for. There’s a heaven to gain and a hell to shun. We want you to
realise today that ‘almost persuaded’ just isn’t enough. If you plan to go
to the moon and only almost get there, you’ve missed the mark, you’ve missed
the boat. Similarly you can’t be partly a Christian and gain the benefits of
eternal life. You must be 100% there, fully a Christian before you can get
close to God and avoid eternal punishment. God does not want any of His
children to perish. He’s planned that you be with Him. Taking Jesus’ hand,
asking Him into your life is all it takes to make this possible. Are you
ready?

Please pray with me.
