Hi David,

I have used most of the Handy Tech Braille displays, which are now
predominantly USB. The ones that remain that are not USB, such as the
Braille Wave come with a USB converter, so you wouldn't have to buy a
converter if you bought any Handy Tech Braille display new. Bluetooth is
another good option if your computer happens to have it.

All the best

Hi Chris:
Thanks for the comments.

I have a glimmer that some displays don't work in this configuration - maybe
others can let us know?

David

Hello David,

For a cheaper alternative you could look at USB=20
to Serial connectors. Maplin's recently had one=20
on promotion for about =A312! There are also USB=20
docking stations at varying prices which include a serial port.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Christopher
