Hi

Just one thing to add here, dolphin told me that the later
versions of thunderbird are not accessible with super nova.
Just thought I'd pass it on.

Dear Ms. Carol,

Why do you think you cannot use jaws with the Thunderbird
email
client?! Are you going by hearsay with this or have you
actually tried?

While it is not my email client of choice (I am a long-time
Eudora
user) - Thunderbird certainly is and has been accessible
with jaws
and other screenreaders for several years, with and without
special
configuration files.

Gmail is no different to use with Thunderbird or other email
clients
than any other email account you want to use with an offline
client.
The only thing you need to know is the settings for setting
up gmail
and those are given online in gmail, along with, if I
remember
correctly, with exaples for popular email clients.

I have had a gmail account from pretty much when they first
got
started and were only available by invitation from other
users. I
have never seriously used Gmail thru its web interface but
with
Eudora and, very occasionally, thru outlook express when I
set up
their account for a friend.

Don't hesitate to try several email clients and settle for
the one
that works best for you.

hth

Doris
