one of the great things now about twitterific is that you can set the buffers
to go to the bottom of the screen, in other words make it look and feel very
similar to tweetings.
One of the huge disadvantages though is that you still cant directly reply to
notifications from the lock screen as you can with tweetings!
I guess I use both for different things, but in the main now probably
twitterific more than tweetings!

yes Jackie in the settings of tweeting turn off streaming then you can
manually refresh with a three finger swipe down as and when you want to!
I’d also say though that twitterific is a fabulous little twitter client.
I’ve used tweetings until recently however the focus jumping on refresh isn’t
as much as an issue with twitterific and in some respects its more flexible.
I’ve not tried the twitter app for some time mainly because the two above
mentioned clients have always done a better job for me!
