Hi David,
Download the app Chicken Nugget from http://www.accessibleapps.com and read its
documentation. You have a 30 day trial period I believe. The docs make a
pretty good beginner's guide to Twitter.
You then need to create a Twitter account and then link it to Chicken Nuggett.
All this is explained in the docs though.

After listening to Moneybox today I have decided to join twitter. Could anyone
point me to an idiot’s guide to twitter. Wasn’t there a special version for
blind people at one time?
