Great, Jackie! I didn't even notice that one and it's so easy when you know
how!:) I'm delighted it's so good and easy the way it works!
How are you getting on with it and what have you done so far?
I've got email working, both Aquamail (as I like it and have used it with my
Android, but also I'm using Keymail, to give me the basics of editing, playing
around etc before I probably use Aqua full time, but I'll see about that! It's
rich in features but a little memory hungry and you think it will freeze but it
doesn't and just needs to catch up for a short while. I just need to verify
Tweetings, once I get some help or feel competent enough with the tablet.
I've installed a few things and need to try out FaceBook to see how it behaves
but may go on doing this with my iPhone because I think it's the simplest and
quickest way to do FaceBook.
put in Acquamail because I really like it and may well use it once I've settled
down with Keymail and tried out all its functions, put in Eloquence and Google
speech, both of which I like and a few other things I can't remember now but
know I've achieved—including getting to my tablet and sorting out the UK
Braille, since it was set to US computer rather than Grade 2 Duxbury.
The more I use it, even if it's a little slow and you can't write as quick as
I'd like to, the more I like it and will be finding new homes for a number of
items I've been using!
Anyway, I'll stop now and get this off to you, hoping you get it safely.
Thanks, as always,
Carol P

Hi Carol
Towards the front of the Braille keyboard, on the left side, there is a lip
which you just use to pull the keyboard away from the glass surface of the
tablet.

Yes, but how do I reach the touch screen? I'm looking for the glass surface?

All you have to do to activate the touch screen is place all ten of yourdigits on it as though you were going to write in Braille. You then feel a
short vibration and can begin writing. It might also be good to press the
right-most and left-most buttons on the front of the Unit until you hear
Touch Braille on. It is also worth keeping in mind that theBraille
characters are not created until you lift your fingers after making the
appropriate shape.

have to flip it over somehow but just can't get my head around it!
What I want to do is to be able to write on the touch pad. I know you
you lift up to take the battery out.
Thanks for anything you can offer ...

Hi Carol
I'm not quite clear what it is you are trying to do? If it is
removing the Touch completely from its case, then flip it over, and
press the latches that are towards the bottom. This will remove it
away from the case completely. If you then want to remove the
battery, there are two further latches on the rear of the tablet which
which neither of us likes.
If I have your question wrong, I do apologise.
As for Tweetings, it seems you can't activate the log-in button once
you put in your credentials whether you use Braille by Touch or not.
I have asked HW to look at this, perhaps there is a work-around? I
detest the native Twitter app for Android, it just doesn't do it for
me like Tweetings does.

Jackie,
I've had the same problem and (though I haven't tried Twitter)
really want to use Tweetings also.
As we have training booked, if nobody helps before then, I'll get it
done at that time and see how it goes. Incidentally, I haven't found
exactly how you set up the touch pad (getting it out of its home, I
mean). If you have done this and can explain it to me, I'd be very
grateful as I'd like to get started ...
I do know how to remove the back cover but, after that, I'm a bit lost!

Terry Clasper and I are on the hunt for a Twitter app that will

need to do on the touchscreen that KeySoft isn't allowing you to
activate to log in. Once you get past whatever that button is, we
reckon it would work because everything else seems to be accessible
so far. We have both tried the native Twitter app which works, but
