Hi Vince

At the moment, we use an ordinary Sky DigiBox because our TV with Freeview
built into it doesn't always get the channels, and comes up with a "low
signal" message on the screen apparently. We do have a digital aerial and a
booster, but have heard and been told the signal will improve dramatically
once analogue is switched off in October. It will be interesting to see how
the talking box will behave, and we are particularly looking forward to
finding out what's on and when through the EPG. Fingers crossed.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Jackie, yes, the signal will very likely improve once analogue is switched
off. When we had our first Freeview TV, some stations had terrible
reception, with many skips and gaps in the programmes. Autotuning sometimes
helped, and so it's a good idea to find out how to do that before you do
anything else. But it was all much more stable after switchover.

Vince.
