HI Andy.

Hmmm, I hadn’t thought of that, I’m going to email Blue to see if they have a
solution for this, their other microphone products like the Snowball, Snowflake
and Yeti don't do this so this is the first time I’ve had this happen with any
external USB mike I’ve used. I’ll feed back with any news as their microphones
are really popular with some list members I think.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Ibrahim - does your Samsung have a headphones socket? I'm wondering if the mic
is cutting out onboard sound to avoid any feedback, and perhaps is intended to
be used with headphones. Just guessing, as it does sound unusual -

  Hi Andy.

Yes, as soon as I unplug the mike the sound comes back, I’ve checked the
sound card and the volume is set to 100%, mute is off and the default audio
output source is Realtek so its definitely not tampered with my sound settings.

  All the best, Ibrahim.

Ibrahim - Does sound come back as soon as you unplug the mike? Has plugging
in the Mike altered any of your sound card settings? -

  Andy

    Hi Everyone.

Wonder if anyone can help here. I recently purchased the Blue Microphones
Tiki USB microphone for my new Samsung laptop running Windows 7 64-bit.
Whenever i plug the microphone in to my computer, all sounds including system
and screen reader simply stop. I have tried to figure out what the problem
might be but with little success. I have tried connecting an external sound
card to restore speech while the microphone is plugged in, I have tried to
uninstall and reinstall the device using device manager, nothing is doing. If
anyone has a solution to this problem then please advise, otherwise this
microphone is going straight back to Amazon.

    All the best, Ibrahim.
