Is there anything new with this update, besides the accuracy? I'm not a
Breeze user, so only know its basics, but we may be interested.

What was happening is this...
I haven't used the Breeze for several months. I plugged in the charger
last night in order to have it ready to use today, but it seems the
quality of the plug and socket mate is not great and the charger was not
actually charging.
Because the thing had not been used for some time the battery had gone
flat to the point where the Breeze thought it was not connected.
So, today I have made sure the connection is true and it is now charging.

I have a Trekker Breeze that is saying "battery removed" when I switch
it on and it will only work with the charger plugged in.
Does anybody have any experience of this? Is there a factory reset that
anybody knows about?
